Two years ago, I got off a plane from Berlin to Dublin and headed straight to the bathroom. The incandescent lighting was blinding and I noticed my bushman eyebrows that I hadn’t touched for two weeks. I complained to my best friend who was also examining her face in the mirror, and she turned to me tears in her eyes; she had been experiencing hair loss for the last year and her eyebrows seemed translucent. I met her when she was 12, where she distinctly had a head full of curly blonde locks, hair that if you brushed it too much would turn into a voltaic poodle. The last year had been a trying and hard time for her, and my complaints about having too much hair were unnecessary and hurtful. I could always wax or pluck my eyebrows, but there was nothing that she could’ve done to immediately regrow hers.
Trusting The Professional With A Microblading Certificate
I had helped her put castor oil on patches of her hair to kickstart her hair growth again, but it was a long-term option. I had researched eyebrow microblading as a faster solution and she seemed to be on board. She was understandably hesitant as she wanted to go to a trusted professional with a microblading certificate, and I began researching the best institutions in the GTA;
eyebrow microblading classes and microblading courses included layers of the skin, face symmetry and eyebrow measuring, skin typing and client care. She seemed increasingly more confident when she understood that she would be in a professional’s hands, and she became less embarrassed and more hopeful. A person’s confidence can really take a nose dive when they lose hair that once they had no problem growing, but it is promising that there are always options out there that can aid the issue.

Ongoing Battle Means Ongoing Strength
Though my best friend and I had completely opposite hair issues, we tried our best to understand where each of us was coming from. I had to get my brows and upper lip waxed every week to feel better aesthetically, and she had to colour in her eyebrows to help her confidence with her hair loss. Eyebrow microblading requires dedication and research, but if you consult with an educated expert who has a
microblading certificate, there will be no problems with the procedure. As childish as it sounds, I wish I could donate some of my hair to my best friend because I hate seeing her confidence suffer every day; I respect her resilience and positivity through all her hair ordeals and I will continue to research ways to assist her battle of hair loss. Microblading her eyebrows is the first step into kickstarting her self-esteem, and she will continue to fight until she will look like the first time I met her.
