International Beauty Institute is proud to maintain knowledgable advancement in the most modern beauty trends and are happy to announce that we offer a Carbon Peel Certificate in Toronto; this non-invasive laser carbon peel procedure combats acne, pigmentation and aging skin.
We will teach you all the industry protocols and safety procedures such as sanitation and safety, client consultations, instructor demonstrations, indications and contraindications and even practicing on a client under instructor supervision.
We take a look at the benefits, process and aftercare of a laser carbon peel below.
Exfoliation: As the carbon is marked by the laser, the dead skin cells are drafted away, leaving new cells to take their place. Your skin will look more luminous and youthful.
Rejuvenation: A carbon peel boosts the production of collagen, a natural element that promotes plumper and tighter skin. With collagen also comes the prevention of fine lines and wrinkles found as we grow older, and the carbon peel is the perfect way to combat saggy skin.
Cleansing: Carbon has the ability to absorb the oil that can accumulate on your face over time, as the laser will disintegrate the carbon applied, along with the oiled pores that it retained, leaving your face oil and acne-free post-treatment.
Bright and Radiant Complexion: Post carbon peel treatment, you will notice that your complexion will have a luminous and bright appearance. New skin cells have been replaced with dull ones, creating a more youthful visage.
A laser carbon peel takes 30 minutes to complete with immediate skin rejuvenation and tighter pores noticed right after the treatment. Only licensed aestheticians and IBI carbon peel specialists can perform a laser carbon peel, as there can be negative side-effect if done incorrectly.
The treatment begins with the specialist applying a layer of liquid carbon on your face, leaving it on for 10 minutes to dry and absorbs any oil. After the drying period, the specialist will administer a laser that is set at a low level to heat the carbon.
In the last half of the treatment, the aesthetician will apply a laser set at a high level to break up the carbon and all the dull skin cells that has been retained. A smoke evaporator will then continue to remove any leftover carbon and debris from your face. The treatment ends with an application of a hydrating moisturizer to ensure your skin will appear fresh and glowing.
Just like any other facial treatments, there will be a small level of aftercare that you must follow to achieve the best results. It is highly recommended to moisturize your skin daily, use sunscreen that is 30+ SPF, avoid the use of retinol for a week and use products that boost your collagen levels.
Though immediate results can be seen right after one laser carbon peel treatments, it is recommended to proceed with 4 to 6 treatments to see its fullest potential.
