The older I get, the more I begin to understand multiple sides of a story; for example, when I was twelve years old and just beginning to blossom, I looked at women with plastic surgery in disgust. I believed that no woman that respects herself should morph her physical appearance to appease the everchanging beauty standards. Throughout my early 20’s, I remained firm in my belief that everyone should accept themselves, no matter the flaws and imperfections. On the eve of my 25th
birthday, I found my first gray hair at the front of my temple and immediately pulled it out; by the time I turned 26 I had gained more than 100 gray hairs and began to dye my hair to rematch my hazelnut rich colour. I was a hypocrite.
Recently, botox injections have been more and more normalized as they are medical procedures only handled by professionals. Certified botox and dermal filler professionals must specialize in botox and dermal filler courses, where they will be trained in crucial areas such as patient selection, possible side-effects, uses of botox and dermal, potential results and time and preparation of treatment. Botox injections and dermal fillers can be invasive and unpleasant if they are issued by an inexperienced professional, and can further cause complications to a person’s nerve system. Botox certification for estheticians
is imperative, as clients need to feel safe and fulfilled before and after the procedure. A common misconception is that botox injections and dermal fillers are used solely to aid a person’s physical appearance, but they can also help with calming down constant eye twitching, headaches, excessive sweating, and even bladder dysfunction. The GTA has boomed in medical cosmetic procedures, and it is becoming rapidly inclusive of all those that partake in medical procedures. Botox and filler training in Hamilton

Botox can help clients regain their confidence
Growing Older, Looking Younger
Though I am not at a stage where I want botox, I am not opposed to it in the future. Initially I was scared and disgusted by the procedure, but the more I research the subject, the more I understand why it is rapidly growing. I heard horror stories where people would walk into a dim room and a person would attack their face with a needle and the patient would come out looking like a windswept feline, but the more I researched the more I found success stories where people’s confidence shot up because they looked like a younger version of themselves. My exploration on medical procedures over the last year have taught me that you should always seek out an experienced professional because if you cheap out, you will regret it later on. The older I get, the more I understand why people want to look and feel like their younger version of themselves, that a ‘no’ is just a future ‘maybe’.
