I am trying to get into a better shape to accommodate the tough conditions of tree-planting this upcoming summer, incorporating weights, running and torturous core exercises into my routine. Though I feel my legs getting stronger, my arms getting more toned and starting to run a mile without losing my breath, the most important exercise of my gym routine is stretching. Stretching forces me to be aware of how tight my body is, and the potential it can achieve if I continuously stretch and breathe properly; stretching is instrumental in developing my body into the best possible shape it can be in because it ensures minimal injuries if practiced properly.
It can be beneficial to see a graduate of a spa therapy course when you spend a lot of time pushing yourself to your limit. Over the last year, I have realized how strong and empowering my body can make me feel and how many tough physical challenges it can face without breaking down; from walking 15 kilometers a day in Ireland to enduring grueling boxing classes four times a week to being able to lift 50 pounds without hesitation, my body has been incredible. Sometimes I forget that it needs to re-energize itself to continue doing these incredible things and I can go for 8 months without making a single visit to the spa. International Beauty Institute offers comprehensive medical spa training that ensures all students who would like to become a spa therapist are well-equipped to help clients invigorate themselves back to their best version of themselves. Medical spa courses teach students about microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser hair removal, photo rejuvenation, acne treatments, laser tattoo removal, skin tightening/body contouring and other medical aesthetic therapies and modalities used in the medical spa environment. Medical spa therapy aids everyone who has really pushed their bodies to their craziest limits and need to get back to their calmer state to continue pushing forward.
It’s important to relax and recharge
I am currently working over 60 hour weeks to accommodate travelling, saving and paying rent and I am constantly adapting new outdoor hobbies such as skating and geo-mapping to enjoy the Canadian climate. I am used to unforgiving hours, pushing beyond exhausting physical limits and the resulting lifestyle changes required for success. My body is my biggest supporter in achieving my dreams, but I know that if I neglect it, it will turn into my biggest enemy. I don’t want to be turning 30 and having severe back problems because I forgot to get a massage once a month, or have premature wrinkles because I did not get facials every couple of weeks. Medical spa therapy is crucial to physical health, as it energizes and rejuvenates your body so that you can push yourself harder into becoming the best version of yourself. I used to think that working out correctly meant your whole body hurting the next day, but working out correctly means making time for stretching so that you do not endanger your body for permanent injuries; taking care of your body, with a well-waited massage or a long-awaited chemical peel, can reward your body to push itself to be the best version of yourself.
