The International Beauty Institute is proud to deliver a comprehensive Laser Technician Diploma program. The program features world-class laser and light therapy devices found exclusively at physicians’ offices and high-end medi-spas.
This course prepares students for a career in the ever-evolving medical aesthetics industry. Students will combine skincare and laser training including hands-on clinical practice with advanced facials and various laser modalities.
The Laser Technician Diploma provides a detailed understanding of laser physics, multiple laser tissues effects, skin typing, wound healing, client consultations, as well as indications and contraindications to laser and light-based therapies. Additionally, the importance of adhering to the Ministry of Health and Health Canada regulations is emphasized.
In order to achieve a diploma, a student must obtain a minimum overall average of 70%, with no grade less than 60% in any theoretical or practical examination.
