What do you love most about what you do?
Omg, I LOVE when clients are just so relaxed that they just float out of the treatment room. It’s been a really rough couple of years for everyone so I KNOW we all need that self care.
But what I love even more is when my clients tell me how their lives have changed. Like, what? It’s just me and skincare, but it makes a difference! When someone tells me how much more confident they feel, or how everyone around them is complimenting them on their skin and how they just feel SO good? My heart.
What were your favourite things about the course(s) you took with us?
Learning!! As an esthetician you need to always be learning.
I loved the small class sizes! You really get that time with your teacher to ask any questions you have and have a lot of one on one time.
The teachers are also amazing.
How did the course(s) contribute to your career and are you now doing the job that you wanted?
I was actually already an esthetician coming into the program and was certified about 12 years ago. In that time I had worked at a few resorts and day spas that were mainly relaxation facials. When I decided I wanted to open a home based studio, I knew I wanted my services to be a hybrid of relaxation and corrective treatments. During lockdowns and couldn’t work, I thought it would be a great time for a refresher and to learn more advanced techniques!
Now I have the thriving business I’ve always dreamed about.
