Trim, Tighten and Tone with Sculpt Body Contouring Studio
Sculpt is seeking a part time Body Contouring Specialist who is discreet, non-judgemental, and comfortable working with various personality types. The Body Contouring Specialist works directly with clients to fulfil their body contouring needs, including massage, vacuum therapy, and other services. A healthy body image and comfortable working in close physical proximity with clients are critical assets for this position. This position involves physically intensive duties that require extensive standing and significant upper body strength over long periods of time.
Duties and Responsibilities
0 Providing consultations and the subsequent services of:
o ultrasound cavitation
o vacuum therapy
o manual lymphatic massage/Shaping massage
o wood therapy
o fat freezing
o EMS
o Taking measurements and photographs as required for treatment
o Consulting with clients, including:
o Assessing areas of concern
o Suggesting treatment plans if requested by the client, including educating the client on the different services offered
o Reassuring the client about non-invasive procedures by walking them through the process
o Answering any questions they may have
o Ensuring a seamless and calm experience at Sculpt
o Booking follow-up appointments as requested by the clients
0 Completing thorough notes of each client interaction
o Maintaining strict client confidentiality
0 Additional related duties as required
Qualifications
-A technical certification in body contouring or a related field is an asset
-Must possess an understanding of human physiology, specifically in the influence of exercise, diet, and lifestyle on treatment outcomes
-Must have demonstrated excellent customer service skills, including active listening and the ability to set the client at ease
-Fluency in conversational Spanish is an asset
-A demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development is required
-Must be committed and capable of fostering a diverse and inclusive community
-Strong verbal communication skills paired with the ability to follow directions
-Must be emotionally intelligent (able to recognize boundaries)
-Must be respectful of client confidentiality at all times
-Must be results oriented
Working Conditions
· Standing for long periods
· Ability to manipulate clients’ bodies into different positions for services (generally upper body strength required)
· Works in close proximity with clients’ bodies
. Personal protective equipment will be required, in line with current public health recommendations during the Covid-19 pandemic
· This is an on-site position
· Features part time hours (between 15 and 20 per week) with a variable schedule
