Medical Aesthetician

Wyskt Facial Bar is a medical spa specializing in advanced skincare treatments and non-surgical aesthetic procedures in Hamilton, ON.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Aesthetician to join our lovely team!

Responsibilities:

● Conduct thorough skin assessments and consultations to determine clients’ specific needs and recommend appropriate treatments and skincare products.

● Perform a variety of advanced skincare treatments, including but not limited to facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, dermaplaning, laser treatments, laser hair removal, and IPL/photofacials, in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.

● Provide general information to clients on our services and skincare products pre and post- procedure care and frequency intervals.

● Assist in pre- and post-operative care for clients undergoing cosmetic procedures, providing support, education, and guidance on skincare routines and products.

● Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and before-and-after photos.

● Stay updated with the latest advancements in medical esthetics, skincare products, and technologies, attending industry conferences, workshops, and training sessions as required.

● Work closely with the Owner to ensure a consistent and high level of care is delivered to all clients.

● Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, uphold sanitation and hygiene standards, ensure treatment rooms and equipment are clean, sterilized, and organized at all times.

● Regularly update stock and product inventory.

● Actively promote and sell skincare products, providing personalized recommendations based on clients’ skin type and concerns.

● Build strong, trusting relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service, addressing their questions and concerns, and fostering a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Requirements:

● Must be a certified medical aesthetician in Canada. Will check for certification, course outline, transcript.

● 1 year experience working as a Medical Aesthetician in a medical spa will be an asset but work experience not required as owner is willing to train the right person.

● In-depth knowledge of skincare techniques, products, and treatments, including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, facials, laser therapies, IPL and laser hair removal.

● Strong understanding of skin types, anatomy, common skin conditions, and their treatments.

● Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.

● Ability to educate, sell, upgrade services, and skincare products (retail experience an asset).

● Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in client assessments, treatment plans, and documentation.

● Proactive and self-motivated, staying abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and skincare advancements.

● Professional, reliable, organized, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and prioritize client needs.

Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
